Memory loss or foggy thinking is a common symptom of menopause. Estrogen and progesterone are both
believed to play a role in memory, therefore decreasing levels may contribute to memory lapses. The condition is
believed to be a temporary side effect of menopause and women will experience improvements when the
transition through menopause is complete.
