Anako Clinic is a mother and child Clinic based in Mendong, Yaounde(Opposite Total Mendong)

ANAKO Clinic was founded by Dr Ako Simon Nji, a seasoned Gynecologist/Obstetrician who trained in and out of Cameroon and worked at the Yaoundé Central Hospital, Maternité Principale for 25years. The Clinic was founded in 2003 and since then has evolved in the infrastructure, staff and technical facilities. The staff comprises of an Obstetrician gynaecologist, who attends to the needs of all the patients who seek our services A general practitioner to assist him, Four state registered nurses, Four seasoned midwives, two nursing aides, a laboratory assistant, an accountant, a hospital cleaner, a gateman. The Anako Clinic carries out general and specific consultations, Antenatal consultations, minor surgeries (circumcisions, incision drainage of abscesses), major surgeries (Cesarean Sections, Myomectomies, Hysterectomies, etc.). Other surgeries carried out here are Intestinal obstructions, by a visiting surgeon.

• Monday to Friday : 8am to 2PM (8h-14h) and 4PM to 7PM (16h-19h)

• Sunday : exceptionally on appointment (exceptionnellement su rendez vous)

Visiting hours : Everyday 6 am – 8am  and  6pm to 8pm

A- Mother and Child Clinic (Clinique Mère-Enfant)

• We carry out daily antenatal consultations with or without appointment
• We are specialized in high risk pregnancy management / Nous sommes specialisés en survie des grossesses à risqué élevé (GARE)
• Immunisation / Vaccination of pregnant women and children 0-5 years (vaccination des femmes enceintes (VAT) et des enfants de 0-5 ans)
• We constitute a referral centre for most of the health centres in the District.

B- Menopause clinic (Clinique de la ménopause)

• We counsel women on pre and post menopausal symptoms and signs.
• We manage menopausal symptoms and signs (nous prenons en charge les femmes présentant les symptômes et les signes importants de la ménopause)

C- Infertility Clinic (Clinique de l’infertilité)

• We screen and manage women with conception difficulties (nous prenons en charge les femmes présentant des difficultés de conception)
• Collaborate with coelioscopic surgeons and IFV centres like CRACER, Two private IVF clinics in Douala and in South Africa
• Post abortum care and family planning Clinic (la Clinique post abortum et PF)
• we offer post abortum care, counceling and family planning services
• we also screen women with recurrent abortions (nous prenons en charge les femmes post abortum, IEC et les femmes avec les avortements à répétitions)
